Dr. Tanisha Hutchinson is a native of the Atlanta area. She graduated magna cum laude from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, where she also ran collegiate Track & Field. Dr. Hutchinson earned her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota where she served as a Chief Resident in her final year and started an ongoing simulation boot camp to train incoming residents. There, she nurtured a growing interest in Facial Plastic Surgery, and was selected to complete further fellowship training granted to only 50 applicants per year nationwide. Dr. Hutchinson completed American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship training with the Glasgold Group in Princeton, NJ.
As an artist and avid painter, Dr. Hutchinson has a keen eye for aesthetics which creates the perfect combination with precise surgical skills. She is passionate about restoring the youth of an aging face with many techniques including endoscopic brow lift, blepharoplasty, facelift, and fat transfer, and she enjoys seeing the impact this can have on a patient’s confidence. Dr. Hutchinson also has particular interest in cosmetic rhinoplasty, including ethnic or culturally sensitive rhinoplasty, and offers many procedures under conscious sedation in the office setting.
